3M SGP195BN-T ScaleGard Hardness Reduction System for Espresso Machine 1 GPM

Improve the appearance, consistency, and taste of your espresso and espresso based drinks with the single-cartridge SGP195BN-T water filtration system from 3M that is specifically designed for hard water applications to reduce hardness, alkalinity and TDS (total dissolved solids) as well as chlorine taste and odor. Hard scale formation of calcium and magnesium on heating coils is also reduced by this water filtration system with a high capacity weak acid ion-exchange resin.

These water filtration systems use a patented valve-in-head design that makes cartridge change-outs simple by shutting off and venting water simultaneously, with no need to stop the upstream feed water. The cartridge design of this water filtration system is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) type that minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination during cartridge change-outs with a simple 1/4 turn. The 3/8" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports on this water filtration system provide direct or easily adaptable connections to plumbing lines.

The SGP195BN-T water filtration system has a capacity of 1,200 gallons at 9 grains per gallon (4,542 liters at 150 ppm) with a flow rate of 1.0 gallons per minute (3.8 liters per minute).
