Axis AX-S12 ULTRA 24.8" Wide Poly V Belt Driven Manual Meat Slicer with 12" Diameter Blade, 1/2 HP - 120V

The AX-S12 ULTRA is a manual, gravity feed food slicer from Axis with a 12" (300 mm) diameter blade that runs at 300 RPM and can cut to an adjustable thickness from tissue-thin to 9/16 inch (14 mm) slices. The full gravity feed on this food slicer uses a 30 degree angle that requires less pressure and helps food products slide easily on the gauge plate.

There is a built-in top mounted sharpener on the food slicer that is removable for easy cleaning. A special microswitch protection feature on this food slicer avoids injury by stopping the blade whenever the microswitch loses contact. There is a wide stainless steel product holder on this food slicer and a plexi safety guard on the carriage tray that helps to prevent accidents.

The one-piece base of the food slicer has no crevices which prevents any bacteria build-up. The environmentally-safe aluminum anodization on this food slicer makes surfaces sanitary and resistant to corrosion. The food slicer includes a slice deflector and knife cover. The entire food slicer unit is easy to clean with just a wet cloth and mild detergent.

The Axis AX-S12 ULTRA is an electric unit with a poly V-belt driven, 1/2 HP fan cooled motor that runs on 120 Volts/60 Hz/1-phase, 2.9 Amps and includes an ETL approved 6 ft cord and plug. The ball bearings on the motor of this food slicer are permanently lubricated to ensure a quiet operation and it sits firmly on rubber feet.
