Mexican restaurants, like all ethnic restaurants, are seeing an overall growth. It’s the perfect time to open up a new Mexican restaurant, as people have more disposable income. So, is it time to get out the tortilla makers?
According to the National Restaurant Association 2016 Restaurant Industry Pocket Factbook:
- 80% of consumers eat at least one international cuisine per month.
- 61% of consumers would be likely to order delivery from a tableservice restaurant if offered.
- 68% of consumers say that they are more likely to visit a restaurant that offers locally produced food items.
- 66% of consumers eat a wider variety of ethnic cuisines now than they did five years ago.
So, it’s definitely looking like a great opportunity to open a new Mexican restaurant in the area. Add in a bit of locally sourced food and a delivery option, and you’ve got it made, right?
70% of customers say that restaurants provide flavors that they can’t readily get at home. This translates into the idea that they’re not coming to the restaurant because of laziness, they’re coming to the restaurant because of the unique food that you can give them. Your customers want expertise, showmanship, and an experience.
What’s stopping you from making your own Mexican restaurant or other ethic restaurant?
