Georgia Restaurant Donates Backpacks to School Children

We’ve talked a few times about the role that charity plays in the business of restaurant supplies. There are some organizations out there who have donated their older restaurant equipment to other places. There are others who donate their time to causes which they see as worthy. Today, we’re going to talk about a Georgia restaurant who has donated backpacks to local school children.

There are many facets which go into running a restaurant. There’s keeping track of organizational costs like food, drink, and labor, but there’s also a need to give back to the community. Farm to Fork, a Ringgold, GA restaurant, has done just that.

They set up a supply drop to help kids who were in need get school supplies. They identified children who were in the family crisis center, special needs children, and people who were involved with the Department of Family and Children’s Services.

So, to do your part for others, you don’t have to give away your Food Prep Equipment, just donate your time, or otherwise pick a cause that’s attractive to you. There are always people who need help out there, kids who need school supplies, people who need clean water, and more.
