The votes have been cast. The American Customer Satisfaction Index’s Annual Restaurant Survey has been released. This survey ranks restaurants on customer satisfaction, a key component of restaurant success. Satisfaction with fast foods has slightly declined, but some of the favorites were still recognized for their service and the quality of their food. In fact, all of the top 10 are either fast food restaurants or fast casual restaurants.
Here are the top 10, based on the survey of over 5,000 applicants.

- Chipotle Mexican Grill
- Panera Bread
- Papa John’s
- Pizza Hut
- Dunkin’ Donuts
- Subway
- Domino’s Pizza
- Little Caesar’s
- Starbucks
The chicken chain received its rating on doing good work as well as making excellent food. It’s hard to think about those waffle fries in the deep fryer without wanting at least one or two. The chicken sandwiches are always sweet and fresh.
We’re not surprised at most of the rankings, but we do know that there’s a knack for climbing one’s way to the top. It takes that dedication, service, and great restaurant equipment to really make it work.
We can’t pass up a Panera Bread without wanting soup in a bread bowl. And, well, Papa John’s just makes it happen with pretty solid pizza every single time. Where does your favorite restaurant stand? We’d love to know how you feel in the comments.
