Astra Manufacturing designs and produces premium coffee equipment for commercial and residential applications. Started in 1993 by a former aerospace engineer, Astra Manufacturing is based in Canoga Park, California. In addition, Astra Manufacturing is the only USA-based manufacturer of commercial espresso and cappuccino machines, with every Astra model designed and manufactured to exceed customer/owner operator expectations. Each piece of equipment is handcrafted and built with USA standard hardware, so the name Astra has become synonymous with reliability.

Their equipment offerings include professional espresso and cappuccino machines, steamers, coffee grinders and coffee machine accessories. Semi-Automatic and Super Automatic Coffee machines are available for the commercial segment and models with a smaller footprint and simplified design are available for home and office settings.

The commercial models and the smaller home/office models all use the same internal components and parts, so if replacements are ever needed, they can quickly be obtained from Astra's California factory or in some cases, from local home improvement stores.
