He established Henny Penny in 1957 to offer his innovation to other commercial kitchens. In 1963, his company launched pressure fryers to enhance high-volume cooking. Through the 1980s, Henny Penny expanded its production facilities and added holding cabinets to their range of commercial food service equipment. In 1990, the company introduced rotisserie ovens and bun warmers, as it expanded its network across Europe and worldwide. During the 90s, Henny Penny diversified its product offerings, which included open tank fryers, heated merchandisers, and combi steamer ovens.
During their expansion into Asia in the 2000s, various leading food service chains recognized Henny Penny's achievements by awarding them with Innovation Awards and the title of Equipment Supplier of the Year. In 2009, Henny Penny continued their pursuit of innovation and customer satisfaction by introducing technology to their open fryers that reduced the amount of oil needed, resulting in cost savings for owner operators. Additionally, in 2014, Henny Penny launched their FlexFusion Series Combi Ovens, which allowed operators to replace multiple pieces of equipment with just one, saving valuable kitchen space.
Due to a rise in demand for their equipment products, Henny Penny had to expand their facilities in Eaton to accommodate the recent growth. Their dedication to quality has earned them a strong reputation in the food service industry, and their equipment can be found in numerous restaurants and food service businesses worldwide.
