RITZ brand products are manufactured by the John Ritzenthaler Company (JRC), a family-owned and operated business founded over 100 years ago in New York City. Starting as an importer of fine cleaning cloths, they expanded their lines to produce other quality textiles, originally fine home linens. Over the last century they became synonymous with high quality, manufacturing textiles and more in their New Jersey facility. Currently based in Pennsylvania, with a distribution facility in Montrose, RITZ shifted from a textile manufacturing company to an importer / distribution business model in order to provide their customers with the highest quality kitchen textiles. After acquiring several other textile competitors, RITZ now has an extensive list of product lines for the foodservice, retail and hospitality industries, including chef apparel.
