Victorinox
Established in 1884, Victorinox began as a cutler's workshop opened in Switzerland by Karl Elsener. He worked to create jobs and provide opportunities for the Swiss. In 1891, Elsener began supplying the Swiss Army with a soldier's knife, and then in 1897, he developed the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife, which has become the iconic Swiss Army Knife.
The Victorinox company philosophy was shaped by Elsener's spirit of commitment to his nation and his foundation of quality. Creating a catalog of cutlery, Swiss Army Knives, watches, and travel gear, Victorinox has grown to become a recognized name worldwide. The Victorinox Commercial Cutlery catalog stands out in the food service industry because of their use of high-quality, durable materials, ergonomic design, and the focus on efficient functionality. This means every professional chef or cook can find the right knife for their application.
Victorinox guarantees that their cutlery and all of their products meet the highest standards of quality, no matter which manufacturing facility produces the items. The majority of their cutlery products are manufactured in Switzerland. While some products are produced abroad, they meet the same stringent levels of quality that Victorinox has implemented since the days of its founding.
Victorinox design philosophy is centered on a single guiding principle: finding the best solution, the ideal functionality, and the perfect shape and blending those features together in every product. This makes every Victorinox Commercial Cutlery product they manufacture extremely durable, more than capable of handling the task, and aesthetically pleasing at the same time.
