Water-cooled ice machines are a type of ice maker that produces ice by circulating cooling water through two incoming water lines - one for transforming into ice and another for a separate heat exchange cooling system. As this water passes through the cooling system, it safely absorbs heat from the condenser, allowing lowering temperatures on the evaporator which is freezing the incoming water that is running over it into ice. When they reach a certain size, the ice cubes are then dropped into a storage bin ready to be distributed to customers.
