Cooper Atkins Thermocouple Probes are designed to be used with their thermocouple instruments (sold separately). There are many different types of thermocouple probes, some for measure air temp, some for surface temperature, and others are needle probes for either direct contact on surface or immersion/piercing into food interiors.

Be certain the probe you look at is compatible with the thermocouple and that it is designed to measure the proper temperature or to be used in the appropriate application.
