Exhaust Hood Filters and Cleaning Kits

Exhaust hood filters collect contaminants from the exhaust flow, helping to keep dust from being released into the air. They can be installed on the exterior of a hood or in its ductwork. Exhaust hood filters are often one-piece units attached to the exhaust hood's exterior with clamps. While non-reusable filters are available, most exhaust hood filters are reusable and can be cleaned with cleaners and scrapers. Exhaust hood filters are made from various materials, including metal, plastic, and fiberglass. They can be installed directly onto an exhaust hood or on the exhaust pipe of the HVAC system. Some hood filters are portable, so they can be moved from place to place as needed. Some exhaust hood filters are activated carbon filters, while others are HEPA filters. What they have in common is that they are responsible for keeping the air in the building cleaner by removing contaminants from the exhaust airflow before it reaches the HVAC system.
