This heavy-duty single-speed 1140 RPM cutter mixer allows you to mix and process a wide variety of food products from mixing salsa to kneading dough, making quick bread batters, or blending coleslaw.

There are electromechanical safety interlocks on the vertical cutter mixer that prevents operation unless the bowl cover is closed and latched or if the bowl is tilted more than 20-degrees from the vertical position.

There is a counterbalanced clear Lexan polycarbonate bowl cover on the mixer that seals in liquid products without a rubber gasket and it has a stainless steel support bar for durability.

The HCM450-61 convection oven is an electric unit that runs at 200 Volts, 60 Hertz, 3-phase for the 5 HP motor and it includes a 6 ft 3-wire power supply cord with a Hubbell 2811/L21-30P plug and a Hubbell 2810/L21-30R grounding polarized power receptacle. Hobart recommends that all electrical connections be made by qualified personnel who will follow all of the proper safety codes and guidelines.

The stainless steel mixing baffle on this unit has a pour-through center shaft that allows you to add liquid with the cover closed and a built-in bowl cover scraper. The polypropylene strainer lets you re-use water when cutting lettuce heads or other vegetables.
