This C1848SR-32 Prodigy Plus modular cube ice machine from Scotsman is constructed with a durable stainless steel finish. The Prodigy Plus ice machine series are the world’s only self-monitoring cubers and this model ice machine requires a separate, remote condenser to produce up to 1,828 lb of clear, small sized 7/8" x 7/8" x 3/8" (2.22 cm x 2.22 cm x .95 cm) ice cubes per day.
Prodigy Plus ice machines feature a patented WaterSense purge control that automatically reduces scale buildup in the ice machine and allows for longer periods of time between cleanings. A patented Harvest Assist system efficiently moves cubes from the ice machine to the ice bin or dispenser (available separately).
These ice machines also have AutoAlert indicator lights, a front-located air filter and a self-aligning front panel for easy access. There is also Agion Antimicrobial technology on the internal surfaces of the ice machine to protect it against bacteria, mold and mildew.
An industry-exclusive QR code on each ice machine provides quick access to warranty history and service information. Optional Vari-Smart ice level control and a Smart-Board module for additional diagnostic capabilities are available for this cube ice machine.
