The HID312-A is a Meridian Ice and Water Dispenser from Scotsman with a Touch-Free Sensor. This air-cooled dispenser produces H2 (harder) nugget ice. It utilizes an R-290 refrigerant. The exterior is constructed of stainless steel, as are the evaporator and auger. There is a maximum production capacity of 260 lbs over the course of 24 hours, with a storage bin capable of holding 12 lbs at once. The model is designed for maximizing space, with a small footprint relative to the capacity. The bearings are sealed and maintenance free.

The sink, grill, bin, filter, and sprouts are all removable for easy cleaning. SmoothStream water technology is utilized to reduce splashing. The refrigeration system is sealed for added safety. AgION, as well as other antimicrobial compounds are included to prevent the growth of algae, bacteria, and mold. The unit also includes enhanced service features, such as LED diagnostic lights and a USB drive.
