Sous Vide Immersion Circulators

Immersion circulators are cooking appliances used in sous vide cooking. They are a pot with an electric heating element inside, with the heating element set to a low temperature, usually around 113 °F (45 °C). Immersion circulators are usually placed in a pot of water, then the pot with the immersion circulator is placed on the stove, and the water is brought to a boil and turned off. The immersion circulators will keep the water at a low temperature for the duration of the cooking time, usually about an hour. Immersion circulators are convenient because they do not require any monitoring. Immersion circulators are usually made from stainless steel or other materials that can withstand high temperatures. They have a heating element that is usually submerged in water. The element is controlled by a switch or wired connection to a temperature controller. Some immersion circulators are also made with materials that are considered to be non-toxic, such as silicone. Immersion circulators are often used in various settings, including homes, restaurants, and commercial kitchens. They can be used for chilling beverages, warming liquids, or maintaining the desired temperature of a liquid as well.
