The PST14T panini grill has an aluminum cooking surface that heats up quickly. When the top plate is lowered, there are 3" between the plates, accommodating thick sandwiches and wraps. As the operator repeatedly opens and closes the top plate, the spring-hinge will not easily bend or break.
