Table Forks
A Table Fork is essentially the same as a dinner fork, used for the main course of a meal. It is useful for the many different dishes that include meat, vegetables, pasta or rice. Some manufacturers simply call their dinner fork by the term "table fork".
Most table forks are mid- to large-sized in length, measuring between 6 and 9 inches. Typically a table fork has 4 tines, similar to a dinner fork. Many manufacturers's table forks are simply continental- or European-size dinner forks.
Table forks come in a variety of stainless steel grades, ranging from the highest quality, shiniest 18/10 stainless steel down to 18/0 stainless steel, which has no nickel content and thus is less expensive and less resistant to corrosion.
