Underbar Sinks

Under- or semi-bar sinks, also called drop-in sinks, are a variety of sink that is installed below the level of the countertop. Drop-in sinks are often used in kitchens with granite or other types of solid countertops. They are often made of stainless steel to prevent rusting, and they sometimes have a non-slip surface to keep dishes from sliding around while they’re being washed.

Underbar sinks are also great for washing small items, such as vegetables or spices, and they’re often placed next to the stove to make it easier to fill pots and pans with water. Since they are placed underneath a counter, they are out of view and are easier to keep clean than a traditional sink. They are also often deeper than traditional sinks, which makes them ideal for holding larger items, such as pots and pans.
