Vollrath CBGMD-60 Medium-Duty Charbroiler Gas Countertop

The Vollrath CBGMD-60 Medium-Duty Charbroiler Gas Countertop includes (5) burners, (2) drip trays, a reversible grill plate, a backsplash, and side splashes. Each burner is spaced 6" apart. This sturdy grill can run on either a radiant or lava rock setup, with lava rocks being sold separately. It is packaged to run on natural gas, though a propane conversion kit is included. The product is constructed of stainless steel, including the burners. The manual metal control knobs feature a lifetime guarantee.

This unit is versatile, with each side providing a unique style of cooking. One side has a narrower surface with integral channels for dispensing excess fat. Meanwhile, the other side is fat and wide, useful for cooking more delicate foods. The heavy-duty legs allow for easy leveling. The gas valve is also heavy-duty. Adapter bars provide the option of moving grill plates away from heat for slower cooking.

The flame settings are adjustable, and a bull nose is included for protection against burns. 6” of space is required in the back of the unit. Also, proper clearance will be required for ventilation and cleaning.

The CBGMD-60 runs on 200,000 BTUs (40,000 per burner). It is cETLus and ETL Sanitation approved. The product also conforms to NSF/ANSI STD 4 and is CSA STD certified. The NPT gas inlet is ¾” standard.
