Description

The WVU-48 is a Universal Ventless Hood from Wells, designed specifically to work with electric heaters. This hood features a fully self-contained, four-stage filtration system. It is constructed of stainless steel. Outside ventilation is not required, which allows for placement in non-traditional locations. This product can fit through a 36” opening.

There are three LED lights which provide 495 lumens each. The WVU-48 utilizes the ANSUL-102 Fire Protection system. Included with this system are various accessories, including a tank and nitrogen cartridge. It must be charged by a certified ANSUL technician. The fire protections system is now accessible from the front.

The product includes a fully self-contained filtration process. This system reduces emissions down to levels deemed acceptable by NFPA 96 and ANSI UL710B. Airflow sensors are utilized for constant monitoring and grease removal, while exhaust is discharged vertically or horizontally.
