Winco K-55W 4-1/2" Rounded Serrated Steak Knife With Wooden Handle

“I have had these knives since January 2021. I had a set of 4 " high end" knives that belonged to my mother; she bought nice stuff. (I just found one vendor selling those high-end vintage for about $175. Insane!) But these Winco knives I bought online for $17.12 for a dozen. This ad line caught my attention "Winco products are used by all foodservice and hospitality industry experts worldwide," then it seemed like I remember using these while cutting steak in a local restaurant. The unbelievable price made me hesitate and wonder how good they could be, but wow, I struck gold! I always use these knives before I use the others ( if the Winco's are all dirty in the dishwasher). These have held up great in the dishwasher by the way. They cut bagels, steak, and chicken far better than the expensive ones. The expensive ones feel sturdier and better constructed then the Winco, but that is truly irrelevant to their functionality. I especially like the rounded front edge so the knives do not become lethal; I need my fingers. In fact, we've been working off the first 4 Winco that I took out the of the box years ago. I still have 8 more that I haven't touched yet. These will probably last a lifetime.”
