Wine Refrigeration

A wine refrigerator is a specialized type of unit built to keep the unit's internal temperature within a temperature range of between 54 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the ideal temperature for aging wine. Some of these units are designed with an interior lighting system that will showcase the wine. A few have a climate control system that keeps wines at the perfect drinking temperature; for example a red wine refrigerator will have a very specific, controlled temperature range. A few of these units are designed with a dual-zone climate control system that keeps red and white wines at the ideal drinking temperature in the same cabinet but separate compartments. Some wine refrigerators are large enough to store several cases of wine, while others are compact and designed for personal use. The open front of wine refrigerators allows staff to access inventory quickly. The units also include LED lighting to showcase the inventory and keep the wine at an ideal temperature.
